After the postponement of this summer's 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, The FA has been working with its gaming and esports agency Digital Sports Mgmt to produce remotely captured content to their channels to help fill the content void. As part of this the FA worked with seven other European nations to launch the Play x Unite FIFA 20 tournament, broken down into two tournaments of four.
England competed in Tournament A alongside Germany, Poland and Switzerland broadcasting all their matches live across YouTube, Twitter and Twitch. The show was produced remotely by Digital Sports Mgmt using live Singular overlays and Kiswe CloudCast, a Singular Certified Technology Partner with seamless Singular integration.
For years, Singular has worked with the FA on overlays for their digital content. They were very early adopters of the Singular platform and have really made it a central part of their live productions. The forward thinking, innovative clients and partners involved in this project really are establishing the future standards of live production, and platforms such as Singular and Kiswe CloudCast give them the tools they need to adapt quickly to any situation.
