FOX's College Football National Championship Game coverage features Singular overlays

During Monday's College Football National Championship Game, FOX hosted a live second screen Watch Party on Twitter, relying on Singular overlays throughout the show to help tell the story of the game.

College football analyst Joel Klatt, former college star Reggie Bush, and rules analyst Mike Pereira hosted the watch along show from the FOX Sports studio.

For a social media stream that was restricted from showing footage of the game, utilizing compelling on-air overlays was an integral part in increasing the presentation quality and providing context and talking points for the hosts. Singular was used for the upper left scoreboard and a variety of lower thirds for social media posts, stat comparisons, identifiers and more.

Fox went with a more playful style with its Watch Party overlays - fitting the party theme - featuring cartoon drawings of each of the hosts in their lower third identifiers.
